#1 Next week is National School Social Work Week!

March is National Social Work Month, and next week (March 1–7) we celebrate National School Social Work Week. The 2026 theme, “Unite to Ignite: Celebrating Our Impact,” recognizes the powerful difference school social workers make each day through collaboration, advocacy, and unwavering support of students and families. Please join us in celebrating our school social workers and send them a shout out here!
We are grateful for their leadership, expertise, and daily impact on students and families.

As we head into the spring months, we want to remind families that attendance matters every day. Warmer weather and busy schedules can make it tempting to miss school, but consistent attendance plays a critical role in student learning, connection, and overall success. Even a few missed days can add up quickly.

Ever wondered what qualifies an absence as excused or unexcused? To find out, check out the video below featuring our amazing school social workers.
